It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Clifford "Cliff" Michael Reback, 84, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Vitas Suites Hospice surrounded by his adoring family. Cliff was born on Aug. 18, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Morris and Nelle (nee Weiner) Reback. He is survived by his beloved wife, Denise (nee Bitton) Reback; his loving children, Karen Reback and Steven Reback; son-in-law, Dr. Scott Howard; daughter-in-law, Lynne Reback; and grandchildren - Danielle, David, Veronica, Nicole, and Jacob. He is also survived by his sister, Michele (nee Reback) Becker.
Cliff was friendly and open, and he had a passion for meeting new people and seeing the world. He had enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Marrakesh, Morocco, where he met his future wife, Denise. They married in 1958 and together they shared their love of travel during their 63 years of marriage. Clifford loved his work and spent many years in marketing and advertising with various companies. His profession afforded him the opportunity to spend time exploring cultures and building relationships with colleagues throughout Asia and Europe.
Clifford was a kind, brave and humble man who put his family's needs before his own. His gentle and playful nature gave him the label of "dog whisperer" to anyone who knew him well. There wasn't a dog he didn't love or a dog who didn't gravitate towards him. He thoroughly enjoyed all sports and was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Sixers fan. He was a true gourmand and his adventurous spirit led to his passion for food. There wasn't a dish that Cliff wouldn't try at least once.
Funeral Services were held at Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Joshua Neely officiating.
Arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 640 Lee Road, Orlando FL 32810, 407-599-1180, http://www.bethshalommemorialchapel.com.
