Losing a loved one

Losing a loved one can be very challenging and during the pandemic it has been even worse. Families are often unable to bury their loved ones or get together with friends and family for Shiva. While Zoom funerals and memorial services are better than nothing, they are not the same as in-person gatherings. While the rules have relaxed a bit lately, no one knows for certain what the new normal will be.

The Jewish Pavilion is announcing their upcoming free grief support group, which will be held outside at Cascade Heights in Longwood beginning Oct.13 at 10:30 a.m. This is an ongoing group and participants should commit to all six sessions in order to participate. The program takes place on 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, and 11/1. Jewish Pavilion Board member, Rabbi Maurice Kaprow, will lead the group. RSVP to the Jewish Pavilion 407-678-9363 or email NancyLudin@JewishPavilion.org.
