JFS Orlando surpasses Hope Challenge match

Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando is proud to announce that its Hope Challenge raised $86,000, which is an increase of over 650 percent compared to its 2020 campaign.

During the 2021 Hope Challenge, which ran from Sept. 1 through Oct. 13, each donation stretched even further as the Pearlman-Minkow Families generously matched $0.50 of each $1. Additionally, because of the amazing community response during the challenge, the Albertson family added their own match while the Pearlman-Minkow families doubled their initial match.

JFS Orlando would like to thank all who “rose to the challenge” by donating to the fundraiser, the Pearlman-Minkow families and the Albertson family, as well as the many community partners who participated in the Hope Challenge, including Congregation Beth Am, Congregation of Reform Judaism, Congregation Ohev Shalom, Jewish Academy of Orlando, Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando, Personal Mini Storage, Rosen JCC, Roth Family JCC, Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation, Temple Israel, and Temple Shir Shalom.

Community support makes a direct impact by helping provide hope to the thousands across Greater Orlando who turn to JFS Orlando for help each year.
