Sally Dreyer Lessure passed away on Jan. 3, 2022, in Orlando. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on Jan. 18, 1927, the daughter of Jake and Reva Dreyer. Sally lived her adult life and raised her family in Cincinnati. She was happily married to Louis Lessure for 65 years. They were ballroom dancers and loved to dance and travel.
Sally taught deaf children at Clifton School and Hamilton County Schools for over 50 years. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and her home was always a place for friends and family to gather. Family meant the world to her and she never missed a friend's or relative's birthday or other special event.
Sally was preceded in death by her loving husband, Louis, and her sister, Gerry Yarmush. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her brother, Bob Dreyer (Shirley); and her children - Alan Lessure, Beth Otto (Richard), Holly Strasberg (Gary), Mimi Trepanier (Kurt); five grandchildren, three great-granddaughters and her dogs and cuddle bunnies, Bentley and Midnight.
Private services held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions to the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing or any Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
