Sharing Purim with others

On March 10, the Jewish Pavilion staff and volunteers prepared a breakfast buffet for the members of the Maitland Chamber. "Sharing our holidays and culture with people of all faiths is very important to the leadership of the Jewish Pavilion," said Nancy Ludin, CEO of the Jewish Pavilion.

The breakfast included home-baked challah, egg salad, tuna salad, vegetable frittata, Israeli salad, blintzes, Israelis salad, fruit salad, banana bread muffins, cherry strudel, blueberry cake and hamantashen. Everything was prepared at home with lots of love. The room was decorated for Purim with colorful décor, masks, beads and groggers. Participants were treated to a quick impromptu play titled "A Purim Extravaganza" written by Cathy Swerdlow.
