As we come to the end of the current school year, it’s time to start making plans for the new school year.
Parents of little ones, who are transitioning from pre-school, need to decide if they want to move to public or private kindergarten. These are choices made based on your family and what educational environment is best for your child.
Registration is currently open at the Rosen JCC for their Kindergarten class of 2022-2023. One of the best features of kindergarten at the Rosen JCC is the smaller class ratio of 1:10. This allows for small groups and individual instruction.
The smaller teacher to student ratio allows children to build a solid foundation of core skills for math, reading and writing. This prepares them as they move on to first grade in public or private elementary schools.
Classes include daily enrichment activities including Spanish, music, science, fitness and gym, cooking, technology, art and Shabbat/Fridays. It offers experiential learning for hands-on experiences. There is a mix of gardening, art, baking, sports and science experiments to make learning fun.
There is communication with parents via Brightwheel to allow for individualized 2-way communication between parent and teacher. The Rosen JCC Kindergarten program runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The school offers extended care for early drop-off and late pick-up to provide flexibility for your family.
Kindergarten at the Rosen JCC will give your child a solid foundation in a warm and nurturing environment. To learn more about the program, call 1-407-387-5330 or schedule a tour.
