Evin Rubin passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at home in Winter Park, FL. Born in New York March 7, 1924, he was the son of Anna and Samuel Rubin. Evin served in three branches of the military across both World War II and the Korean War. He built a successful dental practice in New York City, helped establish a Reconstructionist synagogue in Westchester County, N.Y., and was passionate about life and family.
Evin is survived by Carole, his wife of 71 years, his children — Marty (Kathleen Morgan), Leonard (Susan) and Cindy (Mary); his brother, Arthur; as well as his grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL. Donations in memory of Evin can be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
