Obituary - BRITTANY WILKINS

Brittany (Brie/Hawke) Wilkins, 36, of Orlando, passed away July 13, 2022. She fought a very strong fight against colon cancer for the last three years. She kept overcoming the odds but couldn’t beat the last complication.

Brie was known as a wonderful spirit, with a keen sense of humor and individualism, as well as a passion for the children of UCP as Instructional Technology Specialist for the last 20 years. As Hawke, she was also a fearless warrior for the Society for Creative Anachronism, recognized as a premier in the field of rapier combat. She was a vivacious reader and loved to travel visiting every continent except Antarctica.

Brie was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, cousin, friend and team member. She is survived by her mother, Ilene, and father, Ron; and siblings — Truman, Jake (Sarah), Bradford (Marissa), Shawn and Christine Wilkins and Ray Deveau. Brie is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.

The service was held at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery on Sunday, July 17, 2022. The family requested that in lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the Brie Wilkins Scholarship Fund at UCP of Central Florida. https://interland3,donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E5306&id=24
