Mrs. Lois F. Silverberg, 86, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, at her Longwood, Florida, home following a brief illness. Mrs. Silverberg was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Nathan and Sylvia Feldman. She and her husband, Mark, started their retirement journey to Longwood in 1985 coming from Pennsylvania.
In addition to being an avid tennis player, an active Garden Club member, an early organizer of The Jewish Pavilion, a summer volunteer for the Wekiva Youth Camp and co-chair of the Friends of Harriet Lake Fund raising effort, Lois loved to travel and wear exciting clothes.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Mark Silverberg of Longwood, Florida; sons, David (Rebecca) Silverberg of Jacksonville, Florida; Jay (Tricia) Silverberg of Orlando; daughter, Leslye Silverberg of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren - Jenna, Jamie, Rachel (Brian) Davey, Jared, Shawn and Benjamin; great-grandchildren - Rylie, Livi, Emmett and McKenna.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Silverberg were held at the Pavilion of Temple Israel Cemetery (9302 Morton Jones Road, Gotha) with Rabbi Steven Engel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Congregation of Reform Judaism, 928 Malone Drive, Orlando 32810; Jewish Pavilion, 421 Montgomery Road, Suite 131, Altamonte Springs 32714 or Wekiva Springs Garden Club.
