Central Florida's Independent Jewish Voice
Jewish Academy of Orlando’s Greatest Moment to Learn Gala: Celebrating 46 years of Jewish Education in Central Florida takes place on Sunday, March 5, at 5:30 p.m., at the Winter Park Event Center, 1052 W. Morse Blvd., Winter Park, FL 32789. The Academy will be honoring two amazing showmen: the past president of JAO, Rob Gebaide, and JAO music director, “Mr. Eric” Levine. There will be an ambiance of whimsical “Big Top” flare and fun to be had by all.
Celebrating 46 years of academic excellence and Jewish pride, JAO’s gala will spotlight the incredible work of both of our honorees and highlight our renowned theater program.
There will also be a musical performance, and both live and silent auctions featuring out of this world trips along with local treats for fun evenings out, leisure activities and experiences.
The JAO Gala is the school’s biggest annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the gala fund new curricula, field trips, educational programs, and provide scholarship funds for families in need. Gala tickets are $250 per couple, $150 for individuals and will include decidable kosher appetizers, dinner, desserts, and favors. The event is Sunday, March 5th, 2023 at 5:30pm at the Winter Park Event Center.
