Central Florida's Independent Jewish Voice
Jewish Beginnings Preschool, a boutique Reggio-inspired program in Altamonte Springs, hosted a Mommy & Me with a Jewish Twist: Purim Edition!
Young mothers and their babies, ages 0-3, gathered to enjoy Purim-themed sensory play activities, a sing-along circle time and delicious snacks. From playdough hamantashen to decorating clowns using colored spaghetti, each activity was designed to foster the child's creative spirit and sense of curiosity. A second session will be held next Sunday, March 26. RSVP at www.JewishAltamonte.com/mommy (Photos Here)
Jewish Beginnings Preschool, now in it's second year, unites children, teachers, family and community in a positive and constructive early childhood experience. Jewish values drive the curriculum, environment and school culture. Teachers model and encourage kindness, respect, compassion, confidence and responsibility.
Judaism teaches that the formative years of early childhood are vitally important. A child is viewed as a seed that we nurture with the utmost care, since the seed's every experience will shape and color the quality of its matured self. Jewish Beginnings recognizes that each child has his or her unique needs, interests and passions. Children are viewed as collaborators: they are competent, curious, inquisitive, unique, and creative.
Jewish Beginnings believes in an experiential and intentional approach to teaching and learning. This approach fosters children's intellectual development as they are encouraged to explore their environment and express themselves through words, movement, drawing, painting, playing and other natural modes of expression. Jewish Beginnings promotes an environment where children can develop critical thinking and problem solving skills for a successful and meaningful life.
Registration is now open for the 2023-2024 school year. To schedule a tour, visit www.JewishBeginningsELC.com.
