America and the Holocaust: A Series of Colloquies

April 16, May 17, June 21, Virtual 4 p.m. -5:30 p.m.

In each program, Dr. Michael Berenbaum will explore this complicated debate over America’s response to one of the greatest humanitarian crises of the 20th century to the PBS Documentary: U.S. and the Holocaust. Each session will feature a scholar whose work will shed new light on the topic and challenge us to reframe our understanding of the complex portrait of national inaction.

Yom HaShoah

April 18, in-person or virtually, 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m.

Observe with the Center Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, which commemorates the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the largest act of resistance to Nazi aggression during the Holocaust. The event will include survivor testimony, candle lighting ceremony and live music.

White Rose Tribute Event, Heroes Helping Communities

April 27, at the Orlando Science Center, 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Join the Center in honoring Florida Blue and the Florida Blue Foundation, led by Central Florida Market President, Tony Jenkins, with the Tess Wise White Rose Award for the legacy of leadership.
