Mr. Richard Greenhut, 73, Clermont, Florida, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Mike Conley Hospice House following a brief illness. Mr. Greenhut was born May 21, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Adolph and Rosalind (Fisher) Greenhut. He and his family moved to the Central Florida area in 1987 from Connecticut.
Mr. Greenhut is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Marilyn (Smoot) Greenhut of Clermont, Florida; daughters, Debra Greenhut and Amy Greenhut both of Apopka, Florida; son, Steven (Stacy) Greenhut of Apopka; brother, Michael (Carmen) Greenhut of New York, NY; grandchildren, Derek Koenigsberg and Lily Shanks; sister-in-law, Janet Greenhut of Great Neck, New York. He is predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Greenhut.
Graveside services for Mr. Greenhut were held at Congregation of Reform Judaism with Rabbi Steven Engel of Congregation Reform Judaism officiating. May he rest in peace and may his memory be blessing.
