Obituary - GRACIA (MOORE) SMITH

Mrs. Gracia (Moore) Smith, 87, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at her Maitland, Florida home following a brief illness. Mrs. Smith was born Nov. 2, 1935, in Orlando, Florida to the late Luther and Sarah (Ingham) Moore and was a lifelong resident of Orlando. Mrs. Smith was a retired consultant in psychology. She was a former member of Congregation Ohev Shalom, Sister Hood, Hadassah and Chevra Kadisha of Central Florida. She was a member of the Lower Muskogee Creek Tribe in Whigham, Georgia.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her devoted children; son, Greg (Jill) Smith of Oviedo; daughter, Brenda (Joe) Lancaster of Casselberry; sisters, Sarah Cole of Sarasota; and Bonita Kelly of Andalusia, Alabama; beloved grandchildren - Paul Harrison, Elizabeth Smith, Gregory Smith II, Robert Smith, James Lancaster III, Alex Lancaster; and her nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Smith were held at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando (1603 Greenwood Street, Orlando) with Rabbi Yanky Majesky officiating. May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing.
