Obituary - IRA HOCHROTH

Mr. Ira Hochroth died peacefully at home on Aug.20, 2023, in Lake Mary, Florida at the age of 81.

Ira is survived by his wife of 60 years, Karen Hochroth; daughters, Risa Hochroth Feist (Rich Feist) of Wayland, Massachusetts, and Holly Kluger (Mark Kluger) of Longwood, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren - Nathan Kluger, Steven Kluger, Jessica Feist and Joshua Feist. 

Ira was born on May 28, 1942, in New York, New York to Nathan and Jean Mendlowitz Hochroth. He graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx, NY in 1960.  He attended NYU for 3 years before entering the toy industry. Ira worked for Transagram and Hasbro Industries at the beginning of his career. Later on he went into business for himself owning a company with his wife. 

Funeral services were held at Temple Israel Cemetery on Aug. 23, 2023
