Obituary - FRONA D. LESSANS

Frona D. Lessans, 78, of Lake Mary, Florida, passed away on Sept. 29,

2023. She was born on Nov. 5, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland. Frona, also

known as Fiona, was always sweet and charming, known for her sharp wit and

caring nature.

Fiona had a successful career that spanned various fields. She started as an

English teacher and later worked for the IHS and FDA. She eventually pursued a career in law and became an attorney. Fiona’s dedication to her work was truly admirable, and she made a positive impact on those she served.

Outside of her professional life, Fiona had a love for folk music, westerns, gardening, movies, and traveling. Above all else, her family was her deepest joy. They were her world.

Fiona will be deeply missed by her loved ones. She is survived by her children,

Sara and Shana; her brother, Stuart; her sister, Carole; her nephews, Sam,

Spencer, and Matthew; and her niece, Faye. She was preceded in death by her

father, Samuel, and her mother, Sara.

Fiona will be remembered for her kind heart, passion, and sharp intellect. Her

presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Graveside Services were held at Temple Israel Cemetery (9302 Morton Jones Road, Gotha, Florida) with Rabbi David Kay officiating. May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing.
