Irvin M. Levin, 82, loving father and grandfather, peacefully passed away on Oct. 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Evelyn (Blum) and Abraham Levin in Philadelphia, PA. He grew up in Philadelphia, PA and Atlantic City, N.J. Irvin honorably served in the United States Air Force for four years. After marrying, Sandra Levin, he raised his family in Philadelphia, PA. He spent most of his career as a postal carrier for the United States Post Office and working other jobs to support his family.
He most recently resided in Central Florida after relocating from Philadelphia to Lake Wales, FL. He loved history, good debates on all kinds of topics, listening to big band music and watching classic movies. He was an avid Philadelphia sports team and Penn State University fan.
He is survived by his son, Adam Levin; daughter-in law, Elizabeth Levin; and grandchildren, Brett Levin and Elissa Levin. He is also survived by his brother David Levin of Cinnaminson, NJ. He will be missed dearly by his family and will forever be in their thoughts. We love you!
Funeral Services were held at Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation (11200 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL) with Rabbi Melissa Crespy officiating. Interment followed at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (US 1, Mims, FL) at 11:00 AM with military honors by Patrick Air Force Base. May he rest in peace and may his memory always be a blessing.
