Major Paul Lilling, United States Air Force, Retired, 89, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, at his Maitland, Florida home surrounded by his family. Major Lilling was born Jan. 11, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Herman and Winifred Lilling. Major Lilling served over 20 years in the United States Air Force with 2 tours in the Vietnam War and flew the B 47 during the Cold War.
Major Lilling is survived by his devoted wife, Lois (Messinger) Lilling of Maitland, Florida; son; Terry (Colleen) Lilling of Maitland, Florida; sister, Linda Lilling of Glastonbury, Connecticut; and his beloved grandchildren, Jack & Charles Lilling of Maitland, Florida.
Funeral services for Major Lilling were held at Congregation of Reform Judaism (928 Malone Drive, Orlando, FL) with Rabbi Rachael Jackson officiating.
Interment Service with full military honors were held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US 1, Mims, FL) by the Honor Guard of Patrick Air Force Base. May he rest in peace and may his memory always be a blessing.
