Obituary - LINDA MAYER

 Linda Mayer, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and a resident of Village on the Green in Longwood, Florida, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the age of 81. Linda was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. She moved to Longwood, Florida after enjoying 65 years living in the mid-Hudson valley in New York. She is survived by her husband, Gary; her children, Susan (Robert) Zimmon and Bill (Melissa) Mayer; as well as her grandchildren - Jessica, Sam, Sabrina, and Melissa. 

Linda was an avid cook and baker and she loved to entertain. She was also passionate about researching her genealogy. Linda and Gary were well known in the mid-Hudson valley for several successful businesses including Appetite Control Centers, Culinary Diet Shoppe, A Copy A Second, and Dutchess Blueprint.

Graveside service were held at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery (6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando) with Rabbi Geoffrey Spector of Congregation Ohev Shalom officiating.

Memorial donations to honor Linda can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation. May Linda's memory be a blessing and may she be at peace.
