Obituary - CAROL GOSS

Submitted by the family

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carol Goss, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us at the age of 82. Surrounded by her family and loved ones, Carol peacefully passed away on Aug. 15, 2024, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Carol was a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to love, strength, and selflessness. A devoted wife to her partner, Kathy, of many years, Carol shared a bond that was both tender and resilient. Together, they built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support.

As a mother, Carol was nothing short of extraordinary. Her two children, Tami and Gayle, were blessed to have a mom who embodied kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Hayden and Zachary, who cherished the joy and wisdom she brought into their lives. In her eyes, they were the greatest gifts, and she took immense pride in their every accomplishment.

Carol’s professional life as a physical therapist was marked by her dedication and compassion. She touched countless lives with her skill and empathy, and her legacy in the field is one of profound impact. Her commitment to helping others was matched only by her dedication to her community, where she served as a devoted charity raiser for the Jewish Federation. Her efforts made a difference in many lives, reflecting her generous heart and tireless spirit.

To her sisters, Carol was a source of endless love and support. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and her presence in their lives will be deeply missed. She also leaves behind her faithful dog, Misty, who brought joy and companionship to her later years.

Carol was a beacon of strength and grace. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with acts of kindness, love, and selflessness. She faced her challenges with dignity and courage, and her memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held in October, where family and friends will gather to honor a woman who was truly amazing in every sense of the word. In lieu of flowers/food, donations can be made to the Parkinson’s foundation, reflecting Carol’s enduring spirit of giving.

May her memory be a blessing and may we all strive to embody the same kindness and love she so effortlessly shared with the world.

Service entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 933 Lee Road, Suite 101, Orlando, Florida 407-599-1180.
