Obituary - ALEJANDRO (ALEX) STRACHWSKY

Mr. Alejandro (Alex) Strachwsky, 77, Deltona, Florida, passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024, at Halifax Hospice following a brief illness. Mr. Strachwsky was born June 3, 1947, in Medellin Colombia to the late Karol and Lilly (Schoen) Strachwsky of blessed memory.

Alejandro was a beloved father, husband, friend, and teacher whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew him. Alejandro will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his generosity, and the countless memories he created with those he held dear.

Mr. Strachwsky is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mercedes (Simmonds) Strachwsky, of Deltona, Florida; sons - Andres Strachwsky, David Strachwsky and Michael Strachwsky; sister, Vera Sperling; and his grandson, Oliver Lewis Strachwsky.

Graveside Service for Mr. Strachwksy were held at Temple Israel Cemetery (9200 Morton Jones Road, Gotha, FL) with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating. May his memory always be a blessing.
