Obituary - STEVEN HAMER

Steven Hamer, 68, of St. Cloud, Florida, passed away peacefully on Feb. 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who filled the lives of those around him with love and kindness.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Debra (Foxman) Hamer; his children, Rebecca (Quentin) Campbell and Melissa Hamer; and his cherished grandchildren Elijah and Delilah, who brought him endless joy. He was also a loving brother to Allan (Mindy) Hamer, Rochelle Busker and Marlene Hamer; caring uncle to 10 nieces and nephews and a dear friend to many. Steven was kind, generous and easy-going.

A man of few words but great love, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. 

A service to honor his life was held in the Chapel at Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel (835 Lee Road, Orlando, FL) with Rabbi David Kay officiating. May he rest in peace and may his memory always be a blessing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the UF Center for Translational Research in Neurodegenerative Disease in his honor.
