IDF dismantles kilometer-long Hamas tunnel in Gaza

(JNS) — The IDF announced on Monday that it had destroyed a kilometer-long (0.6 miles) Hamas tunnel in the Beit Lahiya area amid its ongoing operations in northern and central Gaza.

Separately, Israeli troops also uncovered a rocket production workshop, as well as launchers, according to the Israel Defense Forces. Dozens of terrorists have been eliminated, the military added.

“IDF troops will continue to operate against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to protect the citizens of the State of Israel,” the IDF said.
